How much can I really save by switching to LED?

Most commercial retrofits cut lighting energy use by 60–75%. Combined with maintenance savings (LEDs last 50,000+ hours vs 8,000 for fluorescents), typical payback is under 24 months, often closer to 12 with PSE&G or JCP&L rebates.

Will PSE&G or JCP&L pay for part of the project?

Yes — we're a registered Trade Ally for both. We file the paperwork, schedule the pre-install inspection, and apply the rebate directly so you see the discount on the invoice. Most projects qualify for $0.25–$1.50 per watt reduced.

Do you handle the old fixtures and lamps?

We remove the old fixtures, recycle ballasts and lamps per NJ regulations (including PCB-containing ballasts), and leave the site clean. Disposal documentation provided.

How disruptive is the install?

Most retrofits happen after hours or on weekends to avoid disrupting operations. Lift-required work is scheduled in tight passes — typical 200-fixture job is 1–2 nights.

What's the warranty?

All fixtures carry a manufacturer warranty (5–10 years depending on model). Our workmanship is backed by KHE for 5 years, which means if anything we installed fails to work, we replace it.

Can you handle lighting controls too?

Yes — occupancy sensors, photocells, daylight harvesting, and 0–10V dimming controls are part of our standard quote when they make sense. Controls often add another 20–30% in savings on top of the LED upgrade.
